Dear Beth Haven family,
There are moments in life when we all must stop and reflect and consider what are our priorities, for our priorities truly define us. One of our main priorities at Beth Haven is developing and maintaining a family environment. We will be determined to live out this priority in a Christ-honoring way as we continue to move forward together in the valleys and mountains of life. Having said that, we do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are going to extend our Fall Break by one more day. One of our own, Mrs. Tilford (our second grade teacher) has experienced a family tragedy with the loss of one of her sons over fall break. We are very connected here at Beth Haven, so you can only begin to imagine the effect this has upon all of us here. The funeral is on Wednesday at 11AM and we want to allow any of our staff to attend and support Mrs. Tilford and her family during this time without any distractions. We need to put our best foot forward here and this is the decision we have decided to make for everyone. We understand that this may be an inconvenience for some and for that we are genuinely sorry. We would ask you to please respect the Tilford family’s privacy during this time and pray for this precious family. We will be coming out with more information as we support this family throughout the rest of this school year. Our heart is broken for our precious sister and her family and we are passionate about surrounding her with the love and the hope that Christ has given us. Thank you in advance for your understanding and concern. Your love for and patience with us here at Beth Haven does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
