Dear family,
As you look through this year’s supply lists, you will hopefully notice our efforts to trim and tweak them to be more cost effective.
One of the biggest changes this year is that we are deleting specific items off the list and adding a $20 supply fee per child in their stead. We are ordering our reams of copy paper in bulk with this fee instead of having each family bring in several reams on the first day ($10-$25), and we are taking off the Clorox wipes as well ($8-$12). We are trying to go on a safer and healthier track than using chemical-laden wipes in the classroom, and are currently researching our options.
Each family will either pay the front office $20 before school starts, or give permission via email for Mrs. Vincent (tvincent@bethhaven.com) to have it added to tuition charge.
This fee will also let us purchase art supplies for our activity time in elementary and our growing visual arts program in middle school and high school. Please e-mail me for questions or concerns.
