On The Homegoing Of Our Beloved Nabeel El-Farrah…

Our beloved teacher and friend, Nabeel El-Farrah went to heaven early Saturday morning on 10.04.2014

We appreciate the outpouring of prayers and love shown for the El-Farrah family and are grateful for everyone keeping our students in their prayers.

With school closed for a day of remembrance, our students and staff were able to experience along with hundreds more of Nabeel’s family and friends, the service at Ormsby Heights Baptist. It was a celebration of a life well-lived for others that will continue to warm our hearts.

That night, the volleyball team had requested that the evening’s match with Evangel be a special “ORANGE-OUT” night in the Bailey Fieldhouse with everyone wearing orange in honor of it being Mr. El-Farrah’s favorite color. Proceeds went towards Ormsby Height’s missions program.

Again, thank you for your continued prayers and may God bless you and yours.

Previously shared on our homepage…It is with an extremely heavy heart we share with our far-reaching Beth Haven family and community, the announcement of the homegoing of Nabeel El-Farrah. A father, husband, son and brother; a friend in Christ; a friend to many; and one of our beloved teachers. Please pray, and then continue to pray for Nabeel’s family in their time of need and for the days ahead for the needed grace, strength and understanding.

A tremendous sense of loss will be felt by many, including our student-families and staff- past and present; along with the congregation of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church where Nabeel served as Contemporary Worship Leader- for all these, we too ask for prayers.

Nabeel would want us to know there IS a peace that passes all understanding. The calmness and serenity it provides cannot begin to be described by us on earth, but it will protect our hearts and mind from that which might seem unbearable.

Owen Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements with visitation beginning on Monday and the funeral service to be held at Ormsby Heights Baptist Church on Tuesday

Again, please pray, and then continue to pray for Nabeel’s family.
