Both our girls and boys squads advanced to the championship final of the 2014 Kentucky Christian Athletic Conference tournament hosted by Portland Christian. They would both face formidable foes in Calvary Christian (girls) and Evangel Christian (boys), with the boys looking to comeback from earlier season defeat to Evangel.
Led by the hot-shooting of 8th grader, Austin Streble, the Bearcats relied on a strong and steady overall team performance to be victorious on this night over the talented Eagles by a score of 69-53.
Austin, Cody Mikel (9th) and Victor Billingslea (11th) were named to the all-tournament team with Logan Davis receiving the first BHCS Bright Pest Control “Pest-Of-The-Game” award for his defensive performance in the championship final.

After defeating Christian Fellowship 45-27 in the semifinals, our Lady Bearcats, battled until the end in the final, but could not overcome the Lady Cougars on this night and fell short by a score of 62-31.
The girls came up just short in their KCAC run, falling to Calvary in the championship. Lina and Anna Brown were named all-tournament.
