The Beth Haven volleyball team got plenty of use out of their away uniforms over the last two weeks, taking to the road for 10 of their last 11 games. After dropping a tough 3-0 game at Breckenridge County on Monday, Sept. 23, the girls returned to Bailey Fieldhouse for a quick 2-0 victory over Central 2-0 the next night before hitting the road again in a tough 3-1 victory over Fort Knox in their home gym Sept. 26.
From there, the Lady Bearcats traveled to Anderson County High School for the Anderson County Invitational, but their streak of bad luck followed as they dropped four out of five games, claiming their lone win of the tournament with a 2-0 victory of East Jessamine on Sept. 28.
The Lady Bearcats rebounded with a 2-0 win at Fairdale on Sept. 30, but fell short in their next game against John Hardin High School, dropping a 3-0 decision the next night.
The tough road stretch also won’t end anytime soon as the Lady Bearcats will find themselves wearing their away whites in plenty of games over the last two weeks of the regular season as they prepare for the KCAC and districts.
