Senior Chris Miller recently sat down with Michael Stinnett, the new Beth Haven head boys\u2019 basketball coach, to discuss his new position and what brought him here.<\/p>\n
Chris Miller –<\/strong> Why did you take this job?<\/p>\n Coach Stinnett –<\/strong> After coaching 23 straight years, I had taken a break from coaching. The ministry of Beth Haven and the basketball atmosphere attracted me to Beth Haven.<\/p>\n CM –<\/strong> What other school have you coached at?<\/p>\n CS –<\/strong> Owensboro High School and Iroquois High School.<\/p>\n CM –<\/strong> What are your expectations for Beth Haven basketball?<\/p>\n CS –<\/strong> Putting young men on the court that represent Christ and really improve each year. That and to be on the door of the state tournament.<\/p>\n CM –<\/strong> What coaching philosophy do you coach with?<\/p>\n CS \u2013<\/strong> It depends on the personnel of the team.
